It has been a long time since I go along to lunch with L and JK as I did not want to be a “light bulb”. Haha… But since today L said that her brother will also be going, I said, yes. Who knows, last minute her brother got caught up with work and did not make it for lunch. O_O!

As JK had some stuff to do before lunch, we tagged along and had lunch at Golden Mile Food Centre! =) I was recommending the Claypot Rice but I did not know that they are not open for lunch. Haha… Too bad. However, the auntie recommended the Western food opposite her stall.

So, we went over to check it out and decided to eat from that stall. The food is actually quite cheap and not too bad.

L and I had the same dish. You know sometimes when we eat fried stuff, they go this really bad oil stench or something and you just get very sick of it after a while? This was ok and not too oily.

JK ate this which is the same price as the Cod Fish at only S$3.50. We ordered extra onion rings at S$2 and also colestraw at S$1. Hehe.. Cheap lunch!

When we were ordering the food, we noticed a quite “out-of-the-place” dessert stall across the Western food. Although I keep telling myself not to be tempted by it, it kept popping up in my mind and I decided to Takeaway! Haha… I just cannot resist it.

After speaking to the old couple who were mending the shop, called “Sweet Stone“, we find out that it is actually waffles with Belgium chocolates! Oosp. Ice creams too. Fruits to dip for fondue. Wow. So “UP class” in a food centre. So, we bought 2 sets of Waffles With Chocolate Dipping.

Yummy. We tried melting the chocolate with Hot water later in the afternoon as we did not dare to pop it into the microwave. Ok lah. I’m sure if we were to have eaten there it would be excellent. So… we decided to go back there to try the other sets. Haha… =P
