Bak Chor Mee
I have a really funny story with Bak Chor Mee. Ya, and it ended in tears. It is freaking lame but to share it will be embarrassing. So, since B witness it, only both of us will know and the third person will have to die. Ok, not so serious but kind of! Wahaha… =P
The first time (Not again? Yes, again.) I had Bak Chor Mee is about 3 years ago at BK Eating House along Circular Road. When F wanted to eat it and I ask what it is about, the whole table ended up laughing over my craziness of not eaten one before. Like… “Are you an Alien?”
My mum is not a fan of porky stuff and she eat things like Fishball Noodle Soup without meat. Somehow, we were brought up that way and it is how I will order my Fishball Noodle Soup, even now. So, Bak Chor Mee was never on our list of hawker centre food with other things like Kuay Chuap (which I thought is Fruit juice, till the age of 17!) and Pig’s Organ Soup (isn’t that like rubbish?).
Pardon my ignorance.
Anyway, J had Bak Chor Mee at Maxwell Food Centre today (NOT ME!).

According to him, it is not bad (lah). He thought I said that it is nice but I was referring to the Fishball Noodle Soup that the stall was selling too! Haha… If you are my siblings, you will know which dish I was referring to! Haiz= My bf! So not attentive (leh you!).
Me… I had my favourite Century Egg With Lean Pork Porridge. Ok, no matter how you order from this stall, it will come with Lean Pork anyway.

Luckily it is nice, if not after the first time I won’t have ordered from them again. Some how, Ho Kee’s food won’t go wrong (I’m talking about the quality of food, not the service). Yummy…
